"The Old Wagon" by Sharon Will Artist Statement - The commercial art field laid the foundation for Sharon’s study of painting, from working exclusively in pastels, to currently including oils. Believing that nature is the best teacher, the goal is always to capture the fleeting beauty of light, from direct observation. Thirty years of painting have won Sharon numerous awards including, Paint the Parks –Top 100, The Butler Midyear, The Pastel Journal Competition, as well as the IAPS Master’s Circle Award in 2011.
