"Pine Reflections" by Paula G. Wild Artist Statement - Working with pastels gives an immediacy that appeals to me in so many ways. The array of colors, right there ready to use, seems to suit my impatience to get started and see things happening. The depth of color and finding new ways to express color seems to come easier when the sticks of color are there to choose and experiment with.
