"Leland Boat House" by Mary Fuscaldo Artist Statement - Mary is a resident of the Leelanau Peninsula in northern Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Drake University and has studied painting at Delta College and the Cincinnati Art Academy. She is the illustrator of the best selling childrens' book, "Look About You" as well as providing four cover paintings for "Foreword", a national magazine. Her vibrant pastels reflect her travels and the landscapes of northern Michigan. Mary teaches pastel workshops and classes throughout Michigan and at her studio/gallery.
