"Rush Hour" by Larry Blovits, PSA Artist Statement - In my art, I consciously search and strive to portray the truth, beauty, and essence of the subject matter; truth in the physical and structural adherence to reality, and beauty in the control of the fundamental aspects, - the characteristics of color, light, volume, and depth. Once this is established, I then try to capture the elusive essence that moves the statement into the profound, and possibly the sublime.
