"Never Want to Grow Old" by Kathleen Montgomery Artist Statement - What do I look for when I purchase a piece of art? Good design, balance of value, color, weight, etc., confidence of line/shape and fine craftsmanship (knowledge of media). This is what I strive for in my own art. Portraits are my favorite. I try to capture an individual’s personality and character, in a realistic way, without being photo-realistic. I love to draw and love the exciting challenge of “concept to final product”.
