by Kathleen Kalinowski, PSA Artist Statement - Kathleen Kalinowski, an artist from west Michigan, is noted for her paintings of the Michigan landscape and of places she has traveled. She has worked in pastel for over twenty years and regularly exhibits her work in gallery shows, regional competitions and a few high-end art fairs. She is represented by four galleries in Michigan. Her paintings are in many private and corporate collections throughout the nation. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, a member of the West Michigan Plein Air Artists, Oil Painters of America, and a charter member of GLPS and most recently won the Gold Medal Award in the GLPS 2009 Members Show.
