"Beach Tree" by Jane Ditri Artist Statement - I fell in love with pastels in 2006 and can't stop painting. Inspiration abounds in Leelanau County, Michigan, which is filled with everything nature has to offer-- beaches, ponds, bays, forests, hills, dunes, farmland, vineyards and orchards. The beauty of the area will keep me painting for the rest of my life.
