"Sunflowers After the Storm" by Carolyn Schrock Artist Statement - Having been a professional musician, I identify my art with music. I love painting en plein air where the changes in light, color, textures and dynamics challenge me to hone my skills in orchestration. All the voices of Nature’s symphony then can hopefully come together. I am still performing a musical offering, not at the keyboard, but at the easel.
