"Back to the Hive" by Barbara Reich Artist Statement - Barbara is a National Award winning artist specializing in Pastel. She believes the process of creating art is both pleasurable and challenging, but it is mostly a continuous learning experience. Barbara enjoys studio and plein air painting, working from life as often as possible. Her paintings are representational, based on strong design principles, and have been called "painterly and heartfelt".
